About

HTML5basics is an effort to bring in basics of HTML5 to you. Web is constantly changing and it’s being difficult for HTML4 to cope up with it. And anyway, HTML4 is a decade old technology.

HTML5 is a joint effort between whatwg and W3C HTML, where W3C joined much later after the work actually started. More and more browsers and companies are supporting the development of HTML5.

Since HTML5 is yet not fully developed, few of the tutorials on this site may not be valid in future. But these changes will be acknowledged if it happens so.

This site is maintained by omnipresent unitechy(Apurva Chaudhary).

When would HTML5 be available?

HTML5 is still a working draft. Even though it has not been termed as work fully done, but you can still use it for programming. Browsers like opera, mozilla, safari and chrome(hopefully) have already started supporting HTML5.
